ABOUT DISTRICT COURT
The Lower Dibang Valley district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in North Eastern India. Roing is a district headquarter. The name of Lower Dibang Valley district is derived from the mighty river Dibang that flows through the heart of district and finally ends into the Brahmaputra.
The Lower Dibang Valley district is bounded by the Dibang Valley district on the north, by the Lohit district on the east and Mc. Mohan Line by the eastern and Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on the west and by the Tinsukia district of the state Assam on the south.
The Gauhati High has jurisdiction over all the district courts of Arunachal Pradesh. The Lower Dibang Valley district has a court headed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM). The CJM is also the member secretary of District Legal Service Authority (DLSA).
The court complex of Lower Dibang Valley is located in Roing the headquarter and consist of the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Civil Judge Senior Division, opposite of SP Office, Roing.
